INTENT

INTENT Project

Since 2018 ECEC has been working in collaboration with the Dutch organisation Woord en Daad and Driestar University on the INTENT project, focusing on creating 'model' schools by a school consultation trajectory.

This includes teacher training, follow-up visits, School Management Committee meetings and targeted workshops on topics like daily planning, scheduling, phonics classroom management and resource utilization. Besides ECEC, since 2023 other like minded organisation have joined the INTENT consortium: Rural Enterprise and Economic Development (REED) Nepal, Rato Bangala Foundation and KISC EQUIP.

INTENT KASKI

In Kaski, since 2023 ECEC is working with 12 schools under the INTENT project. This is a 5 year school consultation program in which all stakeholders of the school are involved: local education officers, school committee members.

Bringing together local government bodies

To plan and discuss quality education of the participating schools. Advocating for partially monetary and non-monetary support for the schools

Monitoring visits were conducted to schools with education officers to assess the program's results and challenges. Constructive feedback was given to teachers and school leaders. These monitoring visits have added a strong essence of collaboration.
