What is Learning Lab? 

A Learning Lab is an innovative learning environment with progressive stations that combine tablet technology with educational apps and hands-on tasks. The design allows students to move between stations, engage in different types of activities, and progress at their own pace and level.

In a Learning Lab, learning is fun! Every material is carefully designed to help students feel confident and experience the joy of mastering new skills.

There are no traditional teachers in a Learning Lab. Instead, there are facilitators whose role is to guide students in utilizing the amazing educational materials available within the Lab.
 

Learning to read and write occurs in phases, and the Literacy Lab is designed with 9 stations to support students through each stage of the process. Every station features inspiring banners, educational apps, and hands-on games, all thoughtfully designed to encourage students to learn independently, at their own level and pace.

We have developed over 500 educational apps based on the phases of learning to read and write. These apps are designed to align with each station in the Literacy Lab. They are incredibly effective at focusing students' learning, with levels that progressively increase in difficulty. This ensures that students can continue practicing and building their skills, even after mastering certain phases.

The Literacy Lab makes learning to read and write fun! Students who enter the Lab never want to leave. The combination of educational apps and hands-on games helps students feel confident and successful in their learning, inspiring them to keep going and learn as much as they can.

The Numeracy Lab makes learning math fun! Numeracy skills develop in phases, and mastering these phases in the correct order is essential. This Lab is divided into 8 stations, with each station representing a different phase in the process of building foundational numeracy skills.

Each station is filled with engaging educational apps and hands-on games that help students learn in diverse and exciting ways.

At each station, there is a collection of hands-on games and apps for students to explore. Each game and app is designed with a specific learning outcome related to its assigned station. These activities help students achieve the station's learning goals in diverse and engaging ways.

For example, this hands-on game helps students recognize numbers and understand different ways to represent them.

Students have so much fun learning numeracy in our specially designed Numeracy Lab. Not only do they enjoy the process, but they also learn faster and retain their knowledge more effectively.

The Learning Lab concept encourages students to learn independently and at their own pace, resulting in stronger learning outcomes compared to traditional methods of rote learning and repetition.
